NO POVERTY
EMPOWERING TIGER WIDOWS
Green Hope Foundation works tirelessly to ensure that women are equipped with the tools & skillsets to earn a stable source of income, sustain their families and live a life of dignity. We empower women who have lost their husbands to tiger attacks (tiger widows) in the Sundarbans, the world’s largest mangrove forest, to become goat, fish, chicken and duck farming entrepreneurs, thus enabling them to escape the clutches of poverty.

Solar-Powered Sewing School
Our Academy of Hope for Women and Girls in rural Bangladesh provides essential vocational training in sewing, empowering women and girls with the skills they need to generate a reliable source of income. By offering evening sewing classes, we not only teach practical skills but also promote the importance of sustainable fashion, encouraging the upcycling of old clothes to reduce waste and contribute to a more sustainable future. Through these efforts, we aim to uplift women and girls, helping them break the cycle of poverty and achieve greater economic independence.
