Intergenerational Farming Program
We bring together residents of local retirement homes and young students in Canada: together, they plant, nurture, and harvest food at our solar-powered organic farm in a sustainable way that nourishes both the body and the spirit. We, then, donate the produce from our farm to our local food banks. Growing our own food is therapeutic for all ages, reducing stress, enhancing mental and physical well-being, and boosting cognitive function for all. By growing our own organic food, we strengthen local food systems and provide fresh, healthy produce to the community.
Organic Kitchen Gardens in Schools
Our organic kitchen garden in the Sundarbans with the students of our Solar-powered STEM and STEAM lab ensures that our youngest minds grow up with the knowledge of creating local circular bio-economies and ensuring food security in their own zones of influence through simple, ground-level actions like growing their own food.
Grow Your Own Food Campaign
Our Green Hope Foundation Grow Your Own Food Campaign is led by our Children's Board members, where we ensure food security through sustainable land use for growing fruits and vegetables in homes and schools. Through this campaign, children are able to create local circular bio-economies where they grow their own food on their balconies, backyards, gardens and schools, as well as create their own compost, thereby ensuring food security and helping build healthy local and global food systems to end hunger.
